Quirk Polish Fantine

Hey ladies! Today I have another (yes… another) UK Indie to show you 😀 what can I say – my fellow UK Indie makers just keep coming up with the coolest polishes 🙂 this one is by the lovely Kerrie, who also runs the blog PishPosh and Polish! 🙂

Quirk released the ‘So Bloody Miserable’ collection (coolest name ever!) at the end of 2013/ beginning of 2014 (I’m always a little hazy on dates!) which is inspired by Les Miserables. I have to be honest – don’t hate me – I’ve never seen Les Mis, ever! So I honestly have no idea what this polish is in reference to, however, I do definitely think it’s very beautiful!! 🙂

Chubby Owl Polish Majestic Moonstone

Hey everyone 🙂 I’ve got another beaauuuuutiful UK Indie from Jemma at Chubby Owl Polishes to show you today! It’s called ‘Majestic Moonstone’. Sighhh. It’s gorgeous, I think this may be one of my very favourite UK Indies to date! I have developed a bit of an addiction to UK Indies but to be honest anyone who didn’t see that coming must be blind!

I love pretty much everything about this polish – the colour, the glitter, the name…have a look!

Maybelline Street Art White Splatter

Hey chickas, today I have a new glitter topcoat by Maybelline to show you. It’s from the Street Art collection (although on the bottle cap it says ‘Street Artist’). After hearing a few fellow nail addicts talking about these I had a little wonder in Superdrug. There seems to be four on offer here, although I’ve seen more selection in the US (as always!).

I am certain that Maybelline have been taking tips from indies. First there were the Polka Dots, and now there’s these glitter topcoats that look suspiciously indie-like! (If so, that’s fab for all of us indie makers!). What do you think? Today I have ‘White Splatter’ to show you 🙂

Scofflaw Electric Salamander

So today I have a US Indie polish to show you by one of my favourite indie brands: Scofflaw. I’m not sure whether it’s the beautiful labelling, the names, the actual polishes or all three that makes me love them so much but I doooo! Which is how I ended up with the ones I have. I think I had a little panic when Llarowe had a Scofflaw restock back in the summer and worried they’d sell out (I’ve said it before, I really am a marketer’s wet dream!) so I bought all that were in stock! Eek!

Even worse is that I’ve only actually worn two of them, and I have nine! (I’m going to pretend for now that this is the only brand I have this problem with…). Today I have the wonderfully unique ‘Electric Salamander’ – if the name alone doesn’t sell you on this polish, take a peek at what it looks like on:

Hairy Legs London Rainbow Troll

I’ve spent the last few days attending interviews and generally wearing office-friendly nail polish, so today it was high time I injected some colour into my life! It came in the form of Hairy Legs London Rainbow Troll. This polish is normally not something I’d choose for myself, Sanita who owns Hairy Legs London added it in as an extra when Royal Mail played up with the postage of Tainted Love (so kind of her!) and to my surprise, I ended up loving it!

You may be old enough to remember the little troll dolls of the 90s, and apparently the 60s, 70s and 80s too (I never knew they existed before the 90s until I did a little reading!) I personally never collected them but around about 90% of my friends were OBSESSED with them! Rainbow Troll is apparently inspired by the Russ Good Luck Rainbow Troll. I’ve Googled it excessively and it still comes up with troll dolls so I *think* that is what they are, hehe! Please correct me if I’m wrong!
