Barry M Guava Gelly

Here is post #2 of the new Barry M Gelly Nail Paints - today I am showing you Guava, a super gorgeous bright teal. The new collection consists of: Mango, Guava, Key Lime, Blue Grape and Passion Fruit. These will be being released on June 5th in Superdrug, and June 12th in Boots

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know how much I love my blues and greens… what could be better than a lovely bright teal :) This polish was difficult to photograph, so apologies for using the flash in some of them, for some reason it was the only way I could get a colour-accurate shot.

Barry M Mango Gelly

It’s taken me a little while to get these swatches of the new Barry M Gelly Nail Paints up; unfortunately a bank holiday weekend at the pub means I’ve been working from 11am til around midnight most days since I received them which has left barely any time to eat and sleep let alone test out new polishes! But I’m on my day off now so I’m getting on top of it! :P

Barry M will be releasing 5 new Gelly Nail Paints on June 5th in Superdrug, and June 12th in BootsThe new shades are: Mango, Blue Grape, Key Lime, Passion Fruit and Guava. Today I have Mango to show you, a bright pumpkin orange shade. My favourite thing about this polish is that it’s the first true orange nail polish I own that is actually completely opaque… yes, really!

Barry M Prickly Pear Gelly

Reviewing the new Barry M Gelly Nail Paints reminded me that I still have yet to wear a few of the original Gellies, so today I have Prickly Pear to show you! I mentioned a few weeks ago that I’m getting a lot more ‘into’ purples, so here is evidence! This is definitely one of my favourite Gelly Nail Paints, along with Dragon Fruit and Green Berry :)

Lately my nail polish picks have been quite Springy, although as I write this I am wearing a very unseasonal nail polish, but pastels certainly never used to catch my eye and lately I’ve been loving them!

Barry M Dragon Fruit Gelly

I told you it was taking me ages to get through the new Gellies! I really felt like Dragon Fruit required maximum sunshine due to some beautiful hidden shimmer in it… hopefully it comes across a little in the photos. Dragon Fruit is one of Barry M’s Spring 2013 releases and wow is it springy! The latest Gelly releases include Green Berry, Lychee, Dragon Fruit and Papaya.

This one is my favourite alongside Green Berry, but this is the most ‘gel-like’ Gelly Nail Paint I have tried – I have them all so have worn them all at various points! It’s also the polish I got the most compliments on – one of my colleagues asked me if they were my real nails because she thought they looked like acrylics or gels and I’ve also worn this polish at least 3 times so far, which is pretty good going for me! I keep getting tempted to wear it again but I have to tell myself that I have several hundred ‘unblogged’ polishes waiting for their time in the limelight sooo…

Barry M Lychee Gelly

As I said in my review of Barry M Green Berry, it is taking me AGES to work through the new Barry M releases but I’m getting there! I have ‘Lychee’ to show you today, which is part of the four new Gelly Nail Paints released by Barry M, in the colours Green Berry, Lychee, Papaya and Dragonfruit as part of their Spring 2013 collection.

Now, I’m not usually one for nude nails, but sometimes it is nice to just take a break from all the brights and darks and glitters and various shades of polish, and just have nice, clean looking nude nails. I probably wear nude polish once every blue moon but I think when I feel the need, Lychee will probably my new go-to nude! I also have some heels from Asda which are identical in colour and finish!
