Barry M Dragon Fruit Gelly

I told you it was taking me ages to get through the new Gellies! I really felt like Dragon Fruit required maximum sunshine due to some beautiful hidden shimmer in it… hopefully it comes across a little in the photos. Dragon Fruit is one of Barry M’s Spring 2013 releases and wow is it springy! The latest Gelly releases include Green Berry, Lychee, Dragon Fruit and Papaya.

This one is my favourite alongside Green Berry, but this is the most ‘gel-like’ Gelly Nail Paint I have tried – I have them all so have worn them all at various points! It’s also the polish I got the most compliments on – one of my colleagues asked me if they were my real nails because she thought they looked like acrylics or gels and I’ve also worn this polish at least 3 times so far, which is pretty good going for me! I keep getting tempted to wear it again but I have to tell myself that I have several hundred ‘unblogged’ polishes waiting for their time in the limelight sooo…

Barry M Lychee Gelly

As I said in my review of Barry M Green Berry, it is taking me AGES to work through the new Barry M releases but I’m getting there! I have ‘Lychee’ to show you today, which is part of the four new Gelly Nail Paints released by Barry M, in the colours Green Berry, Lychee, Papaya and Dragonfruit as part of their Spring 2013 collection.

Now, I’m not usually one for nude nails, but sometimes it is nice to just take a break from all the brights and darks and glitters and various shades of polish, and just have nice, clean looking nude nails. I probably wear nude polish once every blue moon but I think when I feel the need, Lychee will probably my new go-to nude! I also have some heels from Asda which are identical in colour and finish!

Barry M Green Berry Gelly

First of all I’m sorry it’s taken me sooo long to blog about the new Barry M Gelly Nail Paints – I’ve been slowly working my way through a backlog of photos in my ‘unblogged’ folder! Anyway, Barry M have recently released four gorgeous new Gelly Nail Paints in the colours Green Berry, Lychee, Papaya and Dragonfruit as part of their Spring 2013 collection.

Green Berry is an absolutely beautiful turquoisey-aqua green creme polish, it’s very Spring-Summer appropriate and lovely and eye-catching!

Barry M Plum Gelly

The first thing I want to mention about this polish is that some of the bottles of ‘Plum’ and ‘Blackberry’ were unfortunately mislabelled – so if you pick up the dark purple shown here and find it to be labelled ‘Blackberry’, don’t be alarmed, you do have the right one! Same goes for the deep blue being labelled ‘Blue Plum’ as opposed to ‘Blackberry’. (Just follow the colours you will find on the press release of the Barry M Gelly Nail Paints!)

These polishes have a gel-like finish, kind of like Shellac, Gelish etc. – i.e. it’s really opaque and really shiny! They will be released on the Barry M website on 21st September26th September in Superdrug and 3rd October in Boots, and will cost £3.99 each.

Barry M Satsuma Gelly

Here is another Barry M Gelly Nail Paint – this one is called Barry M Satsuma Gelly Nail Paint 7. They will be released on the Barry M website on 21st September26th September in Superdrug and 3rd October in Boots. They will cost £3.99 each.

As I mentioned in my review of Barry M Blueberry, the ‘gelly’ title refers to the gel-like nature of the polish, like Shellac, Axxium, Gelish etc., meaning they are high gloss and very opaque.
