While Andy and I were in Bournemouth flat-hunting, of course I made the obligatory trip to Boots and Superdrug and this little beauty instantly caught my eye. This is actually from the Bourjois Halloween collection, which I have been slowly but surely hunting down over the last month! It’s the first time I’ve seen a ‘sensible’ brand like Bourjois step out for something like Halloween, which is exciting!
Hello lovelies! I have a slightly controversial polish for you all today. This was another impulse buy from Boots whilst in Bournemouth (oh I DEFINITELY made the most of the 3 for 2 offer!)… It was a curiosity purchase, as I’ve now seen so many brands doing similar things and I’ve been hoping for a while that one might just make it work. I think Seventeen just…might!
I’m talking Barry M Sequins, Nails Inc Beaded, Essie Belugaria… of them all I liked Belugaria best and this one is practically a dupe at half the price. Hello lovely ladies! Again it’s been a little while… although I fully intend to get back on track now… I have 1 month of unemployment so there’s no excuse really! Andy and I are moving in together in Bournemouth in January so I’ve got a lot of time to sort out my stash, get through some reviews I’ve promised and show you all some exciting new stuff!
Today I have the exceptionally pretty Alcatraz…Rocks Liquid Sand polish from OPI’s San Francisco collection. I adore this polish… I know some of you aren’t keen on the Liquid Sand finish but this one is a must-have!
Hello lovelies, sorry (again) for the long gap between now and the last time I blogged, I have an extra pretty A/W polish for you to see today. Lately I have been really loving burgundy – I have burgundy EVERYTHING at the moment – gloves, clothes, eyeshadow, lipstick… I’m obsessed! So when this beautiful colour popped through my letterbox I was ultra excited. I have repainted my nails in this colour 3 times this week, which is saying A LOT for me, someone so twitchy I can barely keep a colour on for 2 days.
OPI In The Cable Car-Pool Lane is from the A/W San Francisco collection. Don’t even get me started on this collection… it’s love!
Here is the second of five new Textured Effects from Barry M. The Royal Glitters Collection consists of: Princess, Countess, Majesty, Lady, and Duchess. This new collection is very similar in effect to OPI’s Liquid Sands and Zoya’s Pixie Dusts, which personally I much prefer to the first four Textured Effects Barry M released.
Today I am showing you Countess; a deep aubergine purple base filled with golden and rosy pink shimmers/glitters (I am never quite sure with the Textured Effects whether it’s shimmer or glitter!). Anyway, it’s super pretty, really vampy but with an attractive sparkle – it’s perfect for winter parties or a warm autumn outfit.
