Hello lovelies, sorry (again) for the long gap between now and the last time I blogged, I have an extra pretty A/W polish for you to see today. Lately I have been really loving burgundy – I have burgundy EVERYTHING at the moment – gloves, clothes, eyeshadow, lipstick… I’m obsessed! So when this beautiful colour popped through my letterbox I was ultra excited. I have repainted my nails in this colour 3 times this week, which is saying A LOT for me, someone so twitchy I can barely keep a colour on for 2 days.

In The Cable Car-Pool Lane is a beautiful deep blend between raspberry and burgundy. It looks sooooo elegant on the nails, I feel like it would look amazing on all skin colours too. I just want to wear it all the time!

Application:

It’s a crelly (jelly and creme combined) which means it has a lovely opacity, while also having an even finish. I find I need 2-3 coats – usually 2 – to give a nice opaque finish. It dries quickly, and to a fairly shiny finish. However I prefer to wear it with a coat of topcoat to finish it off and keep it strong. For me it lasts 2 days before the tips start to wear.

I love this polish. Lately I’ve really got into creme finishes so this is perfect for me. This is also perfect ‘underwear’ for all the festive glitters coming up this season. I also believe this polish is practically a dupe for Essie’s Bahama Mama, I’ve worn them side by side and can barely tell the difference.
