Barry M Spring Launches – Press Release!

I received a very exciting email this morning from Barry M, with all the amazing new products set to be released this February! It’s been a little while since their last release: the Jewel Glitter collection back in September. I can promise you won’t be disappointed by the new products though! There are 4 main ‘categories’ of products being released. These are the Lash Vegas Mascara, 3 new Gel Eyeliners, 4 new Gelly Nail Paints and 4 new Textured Nail Paints!

Carry on reading for more information on each of these products! 🙂

Lash Vegas Mascara – £6.49:

Barry M Lash Vegas and Brush spring 2013 release press

Barry M says:

For BIG Showgirl lashes!

Pump up the volume with Barry M’s NEW LARGER THAN LIFE Lash Vegas mascara with spiral wand to catch every lash.  Available in jet black.

To me this looks super, the wand looks the perfect width (not too thick and clumpy but not too thin and wispy), although I’d love to see it in waterproof as I have quite watery eyes, particularly when it’s cold!

Gel Eyeliners – £4.59:

Barry M Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Group Black Silver Champagne spring 2013 press release

Barry M says:

For a rock ‘n’ roll finish Barry M are introducing a NEW Waterproof Gel Eyeliner collection; available in three colours Black, Silver and Champagne – this ultra smooth liner will provide perfect precision to give you a silkier, smoother and sharper finish.

I have been dying for a Barry M gel eyeliner since what feels like forever! It’s hard to find an affordable cruelty-free gel eyeliner these days so I look forward to seeing what these are like!

New Gelly Nail Paints – £3.99:

Barry M says:

To add to our Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint collection Barry M have 4 new exotic fruit inspired shades!  Lychee GNP10, Dragon Fruit GNP11, Green Berry GNP12, Papaya GNP13 will be your go-to shades this Spring for an extra shiny mani.

I’m super excited for these! I loved the original Gelly Nail Paints and these look perfect for spring, I already have a beady eye on the minty green! I also love all the names, my mind is conjuring up beaches and palm trees just from the exotic naming!

Textured Nail Effect Paints – £3.99:

Barry M Textured Nail Effect spring 2013 release Ridley Road Kingsland Road Station Road Atlantic Road

Left to right: Kingsland Road (Pink) TNP3, Atlantic Road (Blue) TNP1, Ridley Road (Green) TNP4, Station Road (Yellow) TNP2.

Barry M says:

Channel East End cool by adding some grit to your nails!  Textured Nail Effect’s grainy, matte formula creates a unique textured effect for a grunge-chic look.  Available in 4 Spring/Summer shades named after famous haunts where Mr Barry Mero began his early working days in the markets of Ridley Road and Brixton.

I am SUPER excited for these, I’m really curious to see whether they’ll be like the Nails Inc Concrete polishes or the OPI Liquid Sands, or maybe even Nails Inc Leather Look. I’m most excited for Ridley Road, and I love the ideology behind the names!

All of these products will be available in Superdrug and on from 13th February and in Boots from 20thFebruary. You can follow Barry M on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest to make sure you don’t miss the release!

I am so excited about all of these new products, how about you? Which ones will you be picking up? 😀

EDIT: Barry M Textured Nail Effects, Gelly Nail Paints, Lash Vegas Mascara and Waterproof Gel Eyeliners are now available from where they are currently on offer (buy 2 Barry M Nail Paints and save £1) and where they are also on offer (buy 2 for £6), as well as instore and at,

  • I gasped in a wonderfully suprised shock that I then proceeded to choke on my tea! All is well now and I am so happy to see these wonderful new releases from Barry M! The Gel eyeliners instantly remind me of MUA’s gel eyeliners and they are also cruelty free if you did want to give them a go? And at £3 for them I don’t think you can go wrong!
Anyway, I am most looking forward to the mascara and textured nail paints.
I just want to guess which name belongs to which colour of the Gelly Paints as I LOVE what they are called and may have to get one (or two! :P) I think the pink will be Dragon Fruit, Papaya will be orange, Lychee is the nude/beige, and Green Berry is the mint green colour 😀 Thank you for this wonderful news!! xx

    • Ooh I haven’t seen the MUA ones, will have to have a look, thank you 😀 I’m super excited to see the textured nail paints 😀 Your guesses sound like they must be right, they MUST be haha as the fruits match the colours 🙂 thank you 😀 xxx

  • I am super excited to try the textured nail paints.
