As I am writing this post I have lost all sense of reason and spent pretty much £80 on nail polish in the last 24 hours. I really need someone to hold me accountable for all this spendage!
Anyway, I’ll try and distract myself from the madness… Here is another pretty polish from the China Glaze Cirque du Soleil collection.
Water You Waiting For is a beautiful combination of small blue glitter, even smaller aqua glitter and a hint of purple glitter, which together create a bright turquoise blue sparkly effect. I am pretty much in love with this polish – initially I didn’t think it was that unique, I thought it would look a lot like Accessorize Dream/Nails Inc Connaught Square, but when I put them side by side I realised Water You Waiting For is a million times more green-toned while the other two are very pure blues. Which is awesome because it means I can love Water You Waiting For without regret!
Application:
It dries quite dull and rough – to be honest I didn’t like this polish much until I added 2 coats of topcoat (it sucks up topcoat like crazy) but with the topcoat, it looks incredible! The effect is a thousand times better. The 2nd coat of topcoat evens out the finish too. The bonus of it being jam-packed with glitter is it’s opaque in 2 coats, and dries rock solid very quickly. Removal is of course quite laborious but I think it’s worth it for such a pretty polish.
What do you think of Water You Waiting For? Have you bought any of the Cirque du Soleil polishes? I am so happy with mine, and tempted to get some more!
