Chubby Owl Polish Majestic Moonstone

Hey everyone 🙂 I’ve got another beaauuuuutiful UK Indie from Jemma at Chubby Owl Polishes to show you today! It’s called ‘Majestic Moonstone’. Sighhh. It’s gorgeous, I think this may be one of my very favourite UK Indies to date! I have developed a bit of an addiction to UK Indies but to be honest anyone who didn’t see that coming must be blind!

I love pretty much everything about this polish – the colour, the glitter, the name…have a look!

Scofflaw Electric Salamander

So today I have a US Indie polish to show you by one of my favourite indie brands: Scofflaw. I’m not sure whether it’s the beautiful labelling, the names, the actual polishes or all three that makes me love them so much but I doooo! Which is how I ended up with the ones I have. I think I had a little panic when Llarowe had a Scofflaw restock back in the summer and worried they’d sell out (I’ve said it before, I really am a marketer’s wet dream!) so I bought all that were in stock! Eek!

Even worse is that I’ve only actually worn two of them, and I have nine! (I’m going to pretend for now that this is the only brand I have this problem with…). Today I have the wonderfully unique ‘Electric Salamander’ – if the name alone doesn’t sell you on this polish, take a peek at what it looks like on:

Hairy Legs London Rainbow Troll

I’ve spent the last few days attending interviews and generally wearing office-friendly nail polish, so today it was high time I injected some colour into my life! It came in the form of Hairy Legs London Rainbow Troll. This polish is normally not something I’d choose for myself, Sanita who owns Hairy Legs London added it in as an extra when Royal Mail played up with the postage of Tainted Love (so kind of her!) and to my surprise, I ended up loving it!

You may be old enough to remember the little troll dolls of the 90s, and apparently the 60s, 70s and 80s too (I never knew they existed before the 90s until I did a little reading!) I personally never collected them but around about 90% of my friends were OBSESSED with them! Rainbow Troll is apparently inspired by the Russ Good Luck Rainbow Troll. I’ve Googled it excessively and it still comes up with troll dolls so I *think* that is what they are, hehe! Please correct me if I’m wrong!

Fat Puss Polish Queen

Today I have another UK Indie polish to show you. Fat Puss Polish is run by Jess (@claws4paws). It’s one of my favourite UK Indie brands as all of her polishes are inspired by cats. And I LOVE kitty cats (and dogs too!). Anything animal-themed has a special place in my heart, I’m not quite sure why (marketers everywhere would love me) but anything animal-themed just jumps straight onto my wishlist.

This polish completely blew me away when I first saw it. I closed the tab and convinced myself I didn’t need it. Less than a day later I was back, ogling. Don’t try and tell me you haven’t done this too! I closed the tab. This pattern continued until I just couldn’t take it any more and I bought it umm… bought it… alone. (Okay okay I may have bought a couple more, shh!).

Chubby Owl Polish Midnight Owls

Today I have another UK Indie Polish (expect more of these, I’m a woman on a mission!) to show you. I told you I was determined to get through them! I do have rather a large collection though so indie posts will be interspersed with branded nail polish posts.

This brand is by my lovely friend Jemma, with whom I have essay-long conversations on Facebook! It’s called Chubby Owl Polish – just the cutest name ever – and with the most adorable little logo. The nail polish I’m showing you today unfortunately isn’t on sale any more but Jemma has loads of pretty colourful polishes in the shop on a regular basis, so it’s always worth a look.

**UPDATE** Jemma will be popping Midnight Owls in the shop at the end of this week for anyone who fancies it! 😀 x
