Hey ladies! I have a really pretty pink to show you today (I told you I was going to give pink some more lovin’!) in the form of a new Gelly polish 🙂 As you probably know if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, I absolutely adore the Barry M Gelly range 🙂

I often find that pale pastel pinks can look chalky and clashy against my skin and this is the first one I’ve tried that doesn’t look terrible on me! It has a nice jellyish finish which I think really helps it to look flattering 🙂

Hey everyone! I have a discontinued polish to show you all today. Since I promised to show you what I put on top of my Revlon Parfumerie Ginger Melon mani, I thought I’d make a post out of it! Polishes like this one pop up on blogsales or sales groups on Facebook from time to time so if you love it keep an eye out. I’m not really sure whether this is HTF – when I bought it (from a sales group) I was a bit obsessed with Emily de Molly at the time so I didn’t even search for swatches at the time, I went a bit crazy hehe 🙂

I don’t usually pair purple and pink together but something drew me to this pairing 🙂

Hello chickas! On my shopping spree recently I came across a lot of new offerings from Revlon, as well as the Parfumerie collection I was talking about in yesterday’s post. One of these was the Revlon Spiderman collection, also known as the Revlon Electric Chrome collection. It’s a collection of six colour-shifting polishes. I wouldn’t go so far as to call them duochrome as you’ll see from the pictures, but they’re pretty colours and in the bottles they look amazing. Inspired by the new film, The Amazing Spider-man 2, each bottle has a decorative gold spider web on the cap. It’s the little things! 🙂

A few of the other nail varnishes in the collection didn’t seem so unique to me so I decided to try just one, so that if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t have wasted money, as I hadn’t seen any swatches at that point. Hey there lovely ladies (and gents? Give me a shout if you’re a gent – I’m trying to persuade my brother that it would be totally cool for a man to wear nail polish!). A few weeks ago Revlon Parfumerie hit our shelves… well some shelves, in Boots. I’ve been looking at them for ages but just couldn’t decide which to buy – only a couple grabbed me but a lot were easily duped in my existing collection. I decided that I would have to try one, for blogging purposes of course 😉 so the lovely hot pink Ginger Melon came home with me. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I have seriously neglected pinks of late so what better way than to jump back in the deep end with a hot bright pink?!

Now these ‘Parfumerie’ have been around for a good while for our US friends, but now that they’ve finally landed on UK shores there has been some excitement about them! I think a lot of it is to do with the retro perfume-bottle style shape, which is adorably cute and definitely not as much of a hindrance for application as I’d anticipated. Oh and the fact that these all have individual scents, largely based around the name of each nail varnish.

Our beloved Superdrug (a UK drugstore for anyone reading outside the UK) is 50 years old this week, and quite a few brands have stepped up and produced a product in honour of Superdrug’s 50th Birthday! Barry M Birthday is one such product and I don’t think I’ve seen a polish more suited to parties and birthdays than this one! It’s girly, fun, glittery… what’s not to love?!
