Enchanted Polish July 2014

Hello everyone! I’m going to stop apologising for not posting as regularly as I should because I’m clearly not very good at living up to my apologies! Anyway, I have another Enchanted Polish mystery colour today. I’ve been trying to get them all this year although unfortunately as this last time Chelsea was selling all three at once, I could only afford one so got my birth month; July! Enchanted Polishes are currently being sold on a pre-order basis, with an hour long window for buyers to purchase, and a month long window from order to receipt of the polish. I think it works brilliantly! Nobody goes crazy, no site crashes… it’s all good 🙂

July arrived the other day and I have to say when I first saw it, I wasn’t all that keen. However now that I’ve seen it on the nail, I really like it! If you have got this and aren’t keen, I’d definitely suggest wearing it once just to be sure as it looks quite different on the nail from in the bottle.

Picture Polish Columbia Rocky Horror

Today I have another Picture Polish (if you want to see my other reviews of Picture Polishes, click here!) – as I explained when I wrote about Shocked, I have had a little obsession for Picture Polishes lately, so you may see a few posts on these in the coming weeks! The formula is always so good – I can’t help it!

Columbia is from the Rocky Horror collection came out a couple of months ago. Please don’t hate me – I have to confess that I’ve never watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but the amount of people who are shocked by this tells me it must be good! As such, I wasn’t the first to jump for this collection – however I saw a couple of pictures of Columbia and fell. Hard. I’m not normally too keen on reds, but something about this caught my eye and dominated my every waking moment until I bought it!

Stellar Nail Polish Glitter Toppers Collection

Hey everyone! Hope you’re doing well 🙂 the lovely Ruth from Stellar Nail Polish has once again kindly sent me some gorgeous new nail polishes to review – this time they are glitter toppers which always gets me excited! If you remember my post on the pretty Stellar holographic collection from last month you will know I’m already a massive fan of Stellar – so let’s get started!

As always, these polishes are named after songs, and they include the artist in the title so that you know which specific song it is made in mind of (there are so many songs with the same name these days!). I love to listen to the corresponding song as I apply the polish, to really get a feel for what inspired the polish, which I think is a really nice touch.

Picture Polish Shocked

Hello everyone! If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you may have noticed my recent obsession with Picture Polish! Before the Limited Edition collection came out I only owned one and really wasn’t too fussed… but the formula did impress me. I bit the bullet again recently and bought Freya’s Cats, Shocked and Columbia, and adored them all! So here is Shocked to show you 🙂

Picture Polish has a small range of nail polishes with this finish – it’s a coloured jelly base filled with silver holographic flecks – they’re not glitter so I’m not really sure what they are but they’re stunning in the sun! I’ve collected quite a few of these now – Freya’s Cats, Shocked, Kryptonite, Shy Violet 🙂

Nail Stickrs Review

Hey ladies! A little while ago a lovely lady behind the Nail Stickrs brand kindly sent me a selection of her nail stickers to review! I’ve not really used nail stickers much in the past, other than a few printed/decorative ones so this was new for me. They are actually a US brand, but they ship internationally so they’re available to us here in the UK too – yay!

So the basic idea is to use these as a stencil for nail art. I decided to show you how you can use them both ways – as decorative stickers as well as using them as stencils.
