Hello! I’m back with a new brand to show you all. Say hello to ‘Tami Beauty‘, a Scottish nail brand that also specialises in health, beauty and fitness advice. I was lucky enough to be sent one of their new polishes to try, and with excitement I chose ‘Lady of Lomond’. From what I understand, Tami Beauty is an independent (‘indie’) nail brand, but unlike many indie brands, they are actually made in a factory. They are 3-free and cruelty free, so no qualms there!

If you’ve watched my Boyfriend Tag video, you will know that my family used to take annual holidays into the depths of Scotland, as well as to the Hebrides. We would always stop off at Luss, which is on the bank of Loch Lomond, on the way up. It’s become somewhat of a haven for me, especially because at the height of my anxiety it provided an escape from the normal stresses that were going on at the time, and so it gives me strong feelings of peace and dare I say it… ZEN! So I was super excited to try a polish named after one of my favourite places in the world.

Hey lovelies!! I have been leading a somewhat hectic lifestyle the last couple of weeks, hence the lack of blogposts – I promise I am trying to get on top of it all!

I have some stunning nail polishes to show you today. These are the new holographic polishes from the lovely UK indie brand ‘Stellar’, which is run by a lovely friend of mine, Ruth :). She has kindly sent these to me for review – and review them I shall! Stellar polishes are all rigorously tested by Ruth, and she actually uses a safe, spectraflair alternative to create her holographic polishes. Her polishes are also 5-free and cruelty-free – yay! 🙂

Please excuse my slightly short nails – I had two nail disasters on one day and they’ve been slowly growing back for two weeks!

Hey chickas! Since I stopped creating my own indie nail polish I’ve kind of lost touch with the UK indies. However one created by a friend, Kamila, caught my eye, and I bought it 🙂 She was kind enough to pop this one in as a sample, and I love it!! This lovely handmade nail polish is called Too Many Puppies (although I can’t imagine that there can EVER be too many puppies… EVER!)

I also love the shape of Dark Metal Lacquer‘s bottles – it’s so unique to my collection, which is always exciting!

Hey everyone!! You may remember from a few days ago I showed you Flash Nails Jagged which was a funky mixture of shards, and today I have the second mini polish I won from the giveaway! I’ve found Flash Nails to be so lovely and unique so far so I’m excited to buy more 🙂

The one I have today is called Midnight Feast. I love it when names really conjure up images in my mind – this makes me think of sweetie wrappers and cakes and crisps and chocolate and all things colourful. Growing up midnight feasts were a BIG thing haha, I used to stay at my cousin’s house and we’d plan one every single night!! Never successful because despite what we thought, we were actually very very noisy haha!

Hey there! As you know I do love to support the UK indies as they (by default) have a much much smaller market than those in the US, as they can’t send internationally. However the last 2 months I have been beyond broke, and have had to admire from afar while some amazingly pretty polishes make their début here in the UK! But I was lucky enough to win a competition run by Nicola of Flash Nails, where you submitted a name for the polish, and if you won, she sent you a mini of your choice! I adore those kinds of competitions so I was beyond excited to have one, and the best bonus was being able to try her polishes 🙂 Thank you Nicola!
