Yellow Flowers Nail Art - Imagination In Colour

Yellow Flowers Nail Art

Here is day 3 of the 30 Days of Untrieds Challenge (late, still! … I am trying to get back on track!) and day 3 is yellow! Yellow is not a colour I usually wear as it tends to look a little insipid on my skin tone but I really like this shade of yellow, and kept it on for 2 days in the end. It’s kind of an egg-yolky colour, which is my favourite yellow shade.

What I used:

  • Barry M Yellow (slight warning – this polish does STAIN so it’s good to use 2 coats of basecoat underneath!)
  • Revlon Jelly
  • BeautyUK Jellybean
  • Marks & Spencer Red
  • Color Club topcoat
  • Medium dotting tool

How I did it:

I started with 2 coats of Barry M Yellow, then followed by adding sets of 3 dots in a circle of Revlon Jelly, then the same with BeautyUK Jellybean, then the same with M&S Red, (in no particular order!) then finished with a top coat. Easy!

How do you feel about yellow polish? I think I am starting to like it, but it still isn’t a go-to colour for me!
