Hey everyone! I don’t know about you, but I’m a bit of a fan of relaxing and watching YouTuber vlogs and other videos after work with a cuppa. On of my all-time favourite YouTubers has always been Tanya Burr, and of course when she released her #TanyaBurrLipsandNails collaboration with Eye Candy, being the avid nail polish collector I am, I had to try at least one! When they finally made their way to my local Superdrug (Bournemouth Superdrug were a week late from the launch…!), I ended up choosing a very ‘me’ shade; Little Duck.

Enchanted Polish April 2014
Hey everyone! So, many of us received our Enchanted Polish Mystery polishes this week, so I thought I’d show you April – which Andy chose from my rather large ‘to blog’ pile for this week! What Chelsea is currently doing seems to be working great – I am a big fan of this system because as long as you check in on time, nobody misses out. Basically the process is: you are sent an email a good week in advance with details of when the pre-order goes live, including a time-scale for how long it will be available. On the day and at the correct time, you select the polish and purchase it, with no cart-jacking issues and no site problems. 3-4 weeks later, you have your polish! I love that it’s now so hassle-free when for a good 1-2 years it’s been a nightmare.
Anyway, onto the polish. Like the others, this was a mystery polish meaning you are buying blind. As someone with very few colour-preferences when it comes to nail polish, I’m a big fan, although I know some people aren’t. This one is really pretty though, and I haven’t yet seen anyone say they don’t like it.
Barry M Arabian
Hello! Today presents the inception of the A to Z series! This is a little series that I’ll be doing with Charlie from Pocket Money Polishes, Anna from AnnaBean’s Nails, Sarah from Penny Pinching Polish and Kerrie from Pish Posh and Polish 🙂 what happens is we each choose a nail polish who’s name begins with the letter corresponding to that week – as such, today is A, and I have chosen Barry M Arabian, which is from the Barry M Aquarium Collection <—- click to see my reviews on other polishes in the collection! 😀
Hope that makes sense because my brain is well and truly all over the place today! I realised while trying to choose an ‘A’ polish, I don’t have a huge amount that begin with ‘a’ compared to some other letters – let me know some ideas!
OPI Girls Love Diamonds
Hey everyone! You may or may not know that when I moved to Bournemouth recently I also made an IRL friend, namely Charlie of Pocket Money Polishes! 🙂 We have formed a little habit of swapping polishes so the other can try out some new ones without having to splash out, which is so awesome 😀 Charlie’s got a fab collection of OPIs if you didn’t know!
Anyway today I am using a lovely polish which she’s kindly lent to me, called ‘Girls Love Diamonds’. It’s from the new OPI Major League Baseball -MLB- Collection (also known as the OPI Fashion Plate Collection). I have to tell you I have’t got a first clue about baseball… the closest I’ve come to a baseball game is playing rounders on the school field! (Those were the days…!) I have to say I’m not terribly fussed by the collection because the majority is reds and blues, but this one is worth picking up!
Barry M Rose Hip Gelly
Hey ladies! I have a really pretty pink to show you today (I told you I was going to give pink some more lovin’!) in the form of a new Gelly polish 🙂 As you probably know if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, I absolutely adore the Barry M Gelly range 🙂
I often find that pale pastel pinks can look chalky and clashy against my skin and this is the first one I’ve tried that doesn’t look terrible on me! It has a nice jellyish finish which I think really helps it to look flattering 🙂
