Hey everyone! π I have a super lovely product to show you today π a few weeks ago the lovely Rachel of Winterberry Nail Art sent me a Complete Nail Art Kit to review. This was the cutest nail mail I think I’ve ever received. I love the concept, the handmade element and the Β price – everything is good quality and I can’t fault it π I tried to make this review as comprehensive as possible. I hope you enjoy! π
The kit arrives in a compact letterbox-friendly box, and all the products are packed in neatly π

There are two pages of friendly instructions for anyone new to nail art – these are really helpful!
In the kit, for just Β£9.50, you receive:
1 rhinestone wheel with 12 different colours of rhinestones
1 bar glitter nail polish
1 glow in the dark nail polish
1 pot of gold foil
1 pot of silver foil
3 pots of flocking powder
3 vials of microbeads
3 vials of square glitter
3 vials of hexagonal glitter
3 rolls of striping tape
1 tube of nail glue
10 mini silver nail studs
10 mini gold nail studs
1 glass nail file
1 double ended dotting tool
3 orange sticks
2 toe separators
The colours of each item do vary from box to box but you can request particular colours in the ‘note to seller’ box on the Winterberry Nail Art etsy store π

This is the glow in the dark polish π it’s a little sheer so took 2 coat for full opacity for my shorties, but if you have longer nails you will probably need 3. Β I promise it glows in the dark – I tried so hard to get a photo but it just wasn’t happening! It looks pretty funky though :).

Here is the bar glitter π it’s a lovely combo of pink, aqua, blue, silver and yellow, but there seems to be some holo in there too. I love the coverage, it feels like the perfect amount of glitter for 1 coat.

These are the hexagonal glitters. As you can see they are the standard size of hex glitters that you get in nail polishes. The polishes I used here were OPI My Vampire is Buff, Illamasqua Vice, Illamasqua Nudge and Nails Inc Porchester Square.

Here are the microbeads – I have to admit I wasn’t convinced by microbeads based on previous colours I had tried but these are my perfect picks! Anyone who knows me knows how much I love raspberry pink, turquoise and multicoloured things π I really like all of these, which surprised me! These are all over Porchester Square.

These are the square glitters. I like these but I think I should have dusted them off a bit better, especially my pinkie! Anyway, the glitters themselves are really pretty π again, standard size. These are over OPI My Vampire is Buff, Barry M Superdrug Ltd Edition Green and 2true shade 15.

Here is the flocking powder. LOVE! I would never have bothered with nude flocking powder or even mauve, but I adore these! I didn’t want to take them off! Again over Porchester Square, Barry M Ltd Edition Green, My Vampire Is Buff.

The gold and silver foils. These look SO COOL from a distance. Like you have luxury and pizzazz oozing from your nails. I love them. LOVE them. Over Porchester Square, Shade 15 and Vice.

The striping tapes. The picture shows two ways you can use it – on the left, you paint your base colour, apply the tape where you want the base colour to show, and paint over the whole nail with the topcoat. Once it’s dry (ONLY once it’s dry – bad Emma!) you can peel the tape off and add a topcoat, and voila!. On the right you can add it on top for a cute design. I love the pale pink :). I used Illamasqua Nudge and Nails Inc Porchester Square.

The gold and silver studs. These come together in the same pouch. These are pretty cool, I’d love to use them in a jeans-themed mani :). Over China Glaze Pelican Gray and 2true Shade 15.

The coloured rhinestones π I’ve never used coloured ones before, only clear… the colours are so fun! I am loving these! π Over OPI My Vampire is Buff.
That concludes the products – the dotting tool is a standard double ended one, very handy, and the orange sticks, nail glue and glass file are all standards too.
I really think this is amazing value for the amount of products you get, and is the perfect starter and intermediate nail kit! There is genuinely nothing in the kit of bad quality either, they are all super. I can imagine endless hours of nail fun with it π It has the added love of a handmade product which is always a massive plus. I can’t wait for payday so I can hopefully get another one for my young cousin :D.
The Winterberry Complete Nail Art Kit is available right now from the Winterberry Nail Art etsy store for just Β£9.50. Rachel is also selling mini kits too, in blue, bright, and pinkΒ for Β£6, Β£5.50 and Β£6 respectively. There is limited availability so, go go go! π
