China Glaze When Stars Collide

Last month I showed you China Glaze Infra Red, also from the Hologlam 2013 collection. For some reason, I couldn’t stop thinking about the Hologlams (probably because I’ve mentally kicked myself before for missing out on China Glaze’s Tronica collection when it was still available!) and when Nail Polish Direct came up with an offer (£5.95 each and 10% off with code ‘LOYALTYNPD’) on the Hologlams, I couldn’t resist. So I ordered a few more – When Stars Collide, Take A Trek and Strap On Your Moonboots. Not going to lie, I WANT THEM ALL! :P I had a little problem with my order, they sent out Sci-Fly By instead of Take a Trek but this was quickly rectified by their attentive customer service.

I wanted When Stars Collide because I’ve never seen a mauve-toned holo before, and it really intrigued me!

China Glaze Infra Red

Ever since I first heard that China Glaze were releasing another set of holographic polishes, entitled the Hologlam Collection, I was dying to try at least one. I love holo as much as the next nail blogger, so when the Hologlam polishes popped up on Nail Polish Direct, I just had to satiate my curiosity. I managed to restrain myself to just the one polish, since the Hologlams are more pricey than the standard China Glaze (£8.95 at nailpolishdirect.com and more at other retailers compared with an average £6ish price tag for a standard China Glaze).

Infra Red is pretty gorgeous – it’s a lovely raspberry-fuchsia shade with some seemingly subtle linear holo to it… the holo is largely invisible in anything other than purest sunlight or bright artificial light, hence some of the weird angles in the following photos. My nails all have one coat of Revlon Quick Dry Topcoat over them:

China Glaze Running In Circles

I have to start this post by saying – if you love green, and you love green polish, and you don’t already own this polish, you are SERIOUSLY missing out!! This is honestly one of the most stunning green polishes I have ever come across… it’s zoomed right up to my very top favourite greens… EVER!! Anyway, if my introduction wasn’t enthusiastic enough for you, I did include some pictures, just incase ;)

China Glaze Water You Waiting For

As I am writing this post I have lost all sense of reason and spent pretty much £80 on nail polish in the last 24 hours. I really need someone to hold me accountable for all this spendage!

Anyway, I’ll try and distract myself from the madness… Here is another pretty polish from the China Glaze Cirque du Soleil collection.

China Glaze It’s A Trap-eze!

Something has taken over my ability to limit my spending this month… maybe it’s the amazing new collections coming out every other week! I’ve ‘accidentally’ bought 5 Butter Londons, 3 China Glazes, 3 OPIs, 7 Illamasquas since the beginning of January and I’m not convinced that’s the end, either!

Anyway, since I am now inundated with amazing polishes, I’d better get on with showing you them! Here is China Glaze It’s A Trap-eze! – a gorgeous white jelly containing blue, pink, yellow, green, silver, orange and purple glitter… it’s like the topping on a cupcake :)
