Barry M Gelly Summer 2014 Collection Review, Swatches & Comparisons

Hello everyone! I am beyond excited to be bringing you this post today… it’s taken a LOT of prep so I hope you enjoy it :D. Barry M are releasing a brand new Summer 2014 collection of their Gelly Hi-Shine range, which consists of 7 new shades. If you haven’t heard of the Barry M Gelly Nail Paints yet, they are a gel-effect polish which have in general had great formulas and longevity from past collections. I am a massive fan of the Gelly range myself – being the slight addict that I am I have them all…!

As a pre-warning, this post will definitely be a long one as I’ve done some comparisons too, by popular request, so make sure you grab a cuppa!! ๐Ÿ™‚

This new line-up is an interesting one – it feels half summery, and the other half are kind of all-year-round polishes. They don’t seem to really ‘go together’ as a collection but I am all for interesting colours! I am well-known for wearing my neons in the middle of the Christmas seasons so I’ll say no more! ๐Ÿ˜€

OPI Can’t Let Go Liquid Sand

Hello lovelies! Firstly I want to apologise that I did miss a few days in April – a total of 6 ๐Ÿ˜ฎ so I am really sorry but I’m just trying to work out a way to fit it round my daily routine. Anyway!

Today is another day of theย โ€˜A-Z Seriesโ€™. This is between myself and a lovely group of girls who I will list at the end of the post! The idea is that on the day we post, we choose a polish with a name that begins with the corresponding letter for that week. This week is โ€˜Cโ€™, so I have chosen and untried for me – OPI Can’t Let Go, a Liquid Sand from the first Mariah Carey collection.

Revlon Parfumerie Pink Pineapple

Hey chickas! After I posted about the Revlon Parfumerie Ginger Melon the other day, I couldn’t stop ogling the others a the polish impressed me so much. I did end up buying three more, the first of which I’ll be showing you today. I know scented polish isn’t for everyone, but it’s one of those things that I absolutely love and I feel like Revlon do it best! I did write a list on the other post of the ones I liked the look of, but in the end I only got one of those because I felt in a spring-y mood and bought spring-type colours instead.

This one is Pink Pineapple ๐Ÿ™‚

Graffiti Nails Swatches and Review

Press Sample Hello everyone! I received an exciting email a little while ago, asking if I wanted to try some polishes from a new nail brand here in the UK. ย I was interested to see what they would do differently… I often notice that new brands tend to bring out a core line of rainbow cremes for their first launch which I personally don’t find all that exciting – so I was excited to see that Graffiti Nailsย have started with a great selection of unique polishes!

I decided on Morning Mist Glitter and Fairy Wing Glitter, and they kindly also sent me a surprise nail varnish called Butterfly Pink, which I LOVE.

Emily de Molly Black Forest

Hey everyone! You may remember from last week, a little series has begun called the ‘A-Z Series’. This is between myself and a lovely group of girls who I will list at the end of the post! The idea is that on the day we post, we choose a polish with a name that begins with the corresponding letter for that week. This week is ‘B’, so I have chosen Emily de Molly Black Forest! ๐Ÿ™‚

This isn’t an untried for me, but it’s kind of tricky to photograph ย and last time I wore it I applied it badly so I haven’t posted about it before. It’s a gorgeous polish though and really ‘me’! ๐Ÿ™‚
