Hello lovelies 🙂 I have a beautiful UK indie handmade polish to show you today from the lovely Jess (@claws4paws on instagram). There’s an ever-growing number of us UK indie makers – have a look at my UK Indie Nail Polish Makers page to see all of us! Jess is a lovely who’s brand is inspired by kitties 🙂 I’m a cat lover (and dog lover, before you ask!) myself, so I am endlessly browsing her FatPussPolish etsy shop! I love the cute labels too :).
I have a really nice glitter topper to show you today – this one is totally unique for me, I don’t have anything like this in my collection at all!
This is two coats of ‘Kitty Glitter’ over two coats of Illamasqua Poke. I do have to confess that Jess has discontinued this polish (sorry!) but she is always updating her shop with new collections!
There is such a multitude of glitter in here that I’m going to find it hard to list, but I can see white circles, holo stars, holo bars, orange, turquoise, red, gold, purple and green hex glitters, and some iridescent squares too. Sorry if I miss any! The base is totally clear. The second I saw it I knew it would look perfect over purple 🙂 it’s a very sparkly eye-catching polish due to the vibrancy of the colours :).
Application:
The glitter isn’t too dense so a little placement and fishing is required, but sometimes I find this is quite good in a polish. Especially with the clear base, you can’t tell when it’s been pushed around a little. The polish takes an average time to dry but this is speeded up with a quick dry topcoat. The added bonus of the clear base is that it almost acts like a topcoat in itself!
I <3 it! What do you think? Jess’s polishes normally retail for £5.50 (I think!) but they are currently on sale at £3.50 for the remaining stock in the Fat Puss Polish etsy store – a bargain if you ask me!! 🙂
x
