Different Dimension Doppelganger - Imagination In Colour

Different Dimension Doppelganger

Hey all! Sorry I’ve been a bit absent this week… I decided I needed a bit of a break from blogging for a few days 🙂 hope you don’t mind 😀 I’m back with this week’s ‘D’-named nail polish for the A-Z Series. It’s Different Dimension Doppelganger (see I even used one with three D’s!). This is a long-loved favourite of mine – it’s the perfect subtle glitter and it’s super pretty. Unfortunately it’s not on sale any more so you’re best looking out for this on blog sales or Facebook sale groups.

I’ve worn this a few times before but have been so busy before I haven’t been able to take photos. I really love it, hope you do too!

Different Dimension Doppelganger

Different Dimension DoppelgangerSo this is one coat of Doppelganger over one coat of Nails Inc Porchester Square. Normally I’d probably use two coats of Doppelganger over the base colour but I clearly forgot. Lol. It’s a lovely light-taupe jelly base, filled with pink metallic hexagonal glitter in two sizes and salmon-pink holographic hexagons, as well as some giant pearly white hexagons. I personally really love the sporadic giant glitter… I think makes an average glitter really unique and it was what really sold me on this polish.

Application:

It is a tiny bit streaky on the first coat which is why I almost always use two. I also find it to be very sheer which is why I prefer to use it over a base colour. The glitter coverage is good but you do need to fish around for the large white glitters. It dries to a lovely glossy finish in average time – I’d recommend a quick-dry topcoat to speed this up.

As I mentioned before this polish is unfortunately discontinued but you may be able to find it on Facebook nail polish sale pages (just search for nail sale on the pages search!) or on blogsales… but if you do see it I’d recommend you snap it up if you can!
