Hello lovelies, I have a new brand to show you today! Nella Milano by MoYou Nails is a new brand of nail polish made in Italy. Their claim is one coat colour- exciting, but that always depends on the polish, the nails, the application, etc, so we’ll see! 🙂 I was pleased to see a fairly good range of creme polishes, and Violet in particular caught my eye.

Violet is a lovely vibrant sugary purple – the closest colour I can find on Wikipedia is Orchid. I used to hate this kind of purple, largely because it covered every wall in my room and most of the furniture – one can have far too much sugary pinky-purple. But on the nails is a good amount! In fact I think this is my favourite shade of purple to wear – it’s much like Barry M Boots Ltd Edition, which is slightly darker, but I love that one too!

Application:

The photos show one coat as demonstration – as you can see I could probably do with an extra coat but in general the colour is pretty even and opaque 🙂 win win! The polish dries quickly too, and I think with a second thin coat it will look perfect. It’s super shiny as well, so you won’t need a topcoat unless you want long wear.
