One of my (blogging) New Year’s resolutions was to do at least 20 nail art posts this year – that’s just under 2 a month, and I have just realised that the end of January is fast approaching! I actually did this particular manicure about 2 weeks ago, but got distracted writing my 2014 Year in Review post and my  4 Year Blogiversary post – apologies! You will also notice that my nails are particularly short in this post – I had a low break over Christmas and decided to cut them all down and start over. Somehow that always feels so refreshing! (Anyone else?)

Anyway, I dug out some old nail vinyls that I haven’t used in a while, and decided to play around with them. I fancied something angular so out came the lightning shapes.

Hello everyone! It’s getting very close to Christmas! I hope whatever you celebrate, you are having a great time of year. I was kindly sent two sets of Nail Strips by OMG Nail Strips, who are a US brand committed to bringing beautiful, affordable nail designs to everybody in the simple form of the nail wrap/nail strip. I’ve reviewed a couple of nail wraps from other brands before now, and I have to say these are my favourite so far.

Hello everyone! I was lucky enough to be sent a couple of stamping plates and a ‘special nail polish’ by MoYou Nails to review. First of all, I have a confession to make. I have never even attempted stamping before this review, so not only did this provide me with some inspiration for a blogpost, but also with the opportunity to try stamping out for the first time! Exciting stuff. I feel like this is a sacrilege to be written on a nail blog, but there we go!

Hey ladies! A little while ago a lovely lady behind the Nail Stickrs brand kindly sent me a selection of her nail stickers to review! I’ve not really used nail stickers much in the past, other than a few printed/decorative ones so this was new for me. They are actually a US brand, but they ship internationally so they’re available to us here in the UK too – yay!

So the basic idea is to use these as a stencil for nail art. I decided to show you how you can use them both ways – as decorative stickers as well as using them as stencils.
