Barry M Silver Multi Glitter - Imagination In Colour

Barry M Silver Multi Glitter

Here is another of the five new Barry M glitters (Magenta, Aqua, Gold, Pink Silver and Silver Multi Glitter). This one is really interesting and very unique, for me anyway.

Barry M Silver Multi Glitter multicolored multicoloured pink blue yellow silver microglitter dense foil nail paint close up Silver Multi Glitter is essentially a multitude of different coloured microglitter crammed into a clear base. I can see blue, pink, yellow, silver… possibly more! What’s really interesting is that despite the multicoloured nature of the polish, it looks like a dull silver glitter from afar; you can only really see the different colours when you look closely. I feel like this is the new Barry M Silver Cascade (rumored to be a dupe of OPI Mad As A Hatter), which is now discontinued – Silver Cascade had larger glitter with more red, green and blue, while Silver Multi Glitter is more along the pastel theme.

Application:

The photos all show 3 coats. The polish was almost foil-esque in that it was too dense at one coat to be used as a topcoat, but still required 3 coats for full opacity. The polish dried quickly, as with most glitters, and dried to the usual grainy texture. I feel that you would need 1-2 coats of topcoat to smooth it out, depending on what topcoat you are using. Removal wasn’t as laborious as with most glitters – it still took some soaking and scrubbing but not quite as much as usual.

What do you think of this one? I really wish the multicoloured aspect of this glitter was more visible in person, as in the close-up, it’s gorgeous when you really look hard, but the trouble is that you have to look really hard to be able to see it. For me it’s worth it because I tend to stare at my nails all day long anyway!

Silver Multi Glitter is available in Boots at £2.99. I haven’t personally seen it in Superdrug yet but it may well be in by the time you read this!
