Hey pretty ladies ^.^ I have a beautiful Barry M Textured polish to show you today 🙂 I feel a bit bad, I’ve worn this about four times since I was sent it, but never managed to get photos of it when I was working 9am til midnight – not enough daylight in that time!
This is one of my favourite textured polishes, it’s so so delicate and pretty! My photos don’t quite do this polish justice – it’s quite hard to capture the beautiful iridescent sparkles. I think if you struggle to wear white because it makes your hands look red, this polish is the perfect solution. It’s not as stark as pure white polish and the added sparkle really helps to keep the tone of your hands looking natural.
Lady is a beautiful white glittery textured polish jam packed with orange/green iridescent glitters. It’s super duper pretty, I hope you can begin to see some of it in these photos – the iridescent flash is much more apparent in person. The great thing about this polish is that it’s sheer enough to be layered over another polish (over lilac is my favourite) to transform its appearance, but it’s also opaque enough to cover VNL at just two coats. Barry M have hit the nail on the head with this one.
Application:
Lady applies well, I think if you were to go over the same place too many times it would start to drag and pull, but it applies evenly enough that you shouldn’t need to anyway. There was no streaking with this polish, and it was totally opaque at 2 coats. I suppose you can see a shadow of my free edge but it really wasn’t that apparent in person. It dries quickly and is lovely and sparkly. I wouldn’t recommend using a topcoat as this will get rid of the textured-ness of the polish – unless you prefer it that way.
