Picture Polish Shocked

Hello everyone! If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you may have noticed my recent obsession with Picture Polish! Before the Limited Edition collection came out I only owned one and really wasn’t too fussed… but the formula did impress me. I bit the bullet again recently and bought Freya’s Cats, Shocked and Columbia, and adored them all! So here is Shocked to show you πŸ™‚

Picture Polish has a small range of nail polishes with this finish – it’s a coloured jelly base filled with silver holographic flecks – they’re not glitter so I’m not really sure what they are but they’re stunning in the sun! I’ve collected quite a few of these nowΒ – Freya’s Cats, Shocked, Kryptonite, Shy Violet πŸ™‚

Emily de Molly Black Forest

Hey everyone! You may remember from last week, a little series has begun called the ‘A-Z Series’. This is between myself and a lovely group of girls who I will list at the end of the post! The idea is that on the day we post, we choose a polish with a name that begins with the corresponding letter for that week. This week is ‘B’, so I have chosen Emily de Molly Black Forest! πŸ™‚

This isn’t an untried for me, but it’s kind of tricky to photograph Β and last time I wore it I applied it badly so I haven’t posted about it before. It’s a gorgeous polish though and really ‘me’! πŸ™‚

Emily de Molly Violet Days

Hey everyone! I have a discontinued polish to show you all today. Since I promised to show you what I put on top of my Revlon Parfumerie Ginger Melon mani, I thought I’d make a post out of it! Polishes like this one pop up on blogsales or sales groups on Facebook from time to time so if you love it keep an eye out. I’m not really sure whether this is HTF – when I bought it (from a sales group) I was a bit obsessed with Emily de Molly at the time so I didn’t even search for swatches at the time, I went a bit crazy hehe πŸ™‚

I don’t usually pair purple and pink together but something drew me to this pairing πŸ™‚

Glam Polish Would You Believe?

Good evening! Hope you’re all well. I’ve had a really busy day at work (somehow being in admin isn’t as stress-free as one would hope!) Β but I am still loving the luxury of the 9-5 day. Work 9am-1am with 1hr break and you probably know what I mean!! Another thing I’m enjoying about the office is that there are no rules about nail polish – yayyyy!!

On that note I have a very beautiful glitter topcoat to show you πŸ™‚ you may remember a while back I reviewed Glam Polish Day DreamerΒ (I have since shortened my nails quite a bit and looking at those photos makes me shudder – no offence to ladies with long nails, I think they look lovely on others but on me I’m just not a fan!!) but anyway, this is the polish I bought with it and I have to say is my favourite of the two – Day Dreamer sadly didn’t quite do it for me!

Emily de Molly Pyrite

Hi! Today I am going to be showing you a beautiful, subtle polish by Emily de Molly. I bought this back in June of last year, and wore it during the time where I didn’t get a chance to even photograph polish, let alone share it on my blog, so here it is in its full glory. I remember this polish being the one I was least excited about when I purchased the ones I did, and I think it was somewhat of a last-minute impulse purchase, but it turned out to be one of my very favourites.

Pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, is a beautiful mineral that I used to collect when I was young, as it’s all over the place! I remember one beach on Seil Island in Scotland being particularly abundant with it in its natural state… it’s a beautiful mineral that is a pale brassy gold and metallic in appearance. It used to be sold a lot in museums and by mineral collectors.
