I’ve never been a fan of Leighton Denny polishes; they’ve never applied well for me and they’ve separated, been streaky or dried bumpy… the list goes on. I got Babydoll in a Glossybox a few months back, swatched it once (it applied streaky) and put it to the back of my stash. A couple of days ago, as I was sorting out my polishes, I swatched it again. This time, no problems whatsoever! So here it is. It may just have changed my mind about Leighton Denny.
Babydoll surprised me, it’s a lovely salmony-baby-pink creme that’s just flawless! It’s ever so flattering on your nails. I felt that it made my fingers look longer and slimmer, which is always a good thing!
Application:
Babydoll was opaque at 2 coats. The application was perfect, but if you stroke the same coat too many times it does start to become a bit streaky. The polish dried fairly quickly and to a high shine – no topcoat necessary!
I’m glad I finally tried this, I really love it. Are there any polishes lying unloved at the bottom of your stash that you haven’t yet given the chance? I’m afraid there’s rather a lot in mine!
