February 2013 Nail Polish Haul Part 2

I know, I know… it’s already near the end of March and I’ve only just got this up – whoops! I am extremely busy at work, I am just about to be promoted to Team Leader (yay!) which will possibly take up even more of my time so I need to find a way round pleasing my work time, my blog time and of course my personal life, all at once.

So here is part 2 of my February haul… this part is the ‘salon haul’ I mentioned in part 1 – a lovely lady who was closing down her beauty business kindly allowed me to buy all the following polishes from her for a total of £80, which considering the RRP of most of these polishes and the fact that most of them are barely used, is an incredible bargain! I am so grateful 🙂

China Glaze minis: White Cap, Life Preserver, Ahoy!, First Mate.

China Glaze: Sea Spray, Pelican Gray, Senorita Bonita, 108 Degrees.

China Glaze: QT (My face was pretty OMG when I saw this one!), Rainbow, Ruby Pumps, The Ten Man.

China Glaze: Frostbite, Up All Night.

OPI: (I totally forgot to check the name of the first one, will check as soon as I get home!), Malaga Wine, An Affair In Red Square and Ali’s Big Break (I think! I’ve been researching all the red minis OPI have released and can only conclude that this is Ali’s Big Break – it’s red with a golden and red shimmer to it. I wish OPI minis would carry the name on them! Oh and perhaps they could be a bit more generous – China Glaze minis are 9.6ml compared to OPI minis at 3.75ml – very mini!!! I feel like one manicure will use it up! Anyway, after that divergence, let’s continue!)

OPI: What’s With The Cattitude?, Teal The Cows Come Home, Cuckoo For This Color, Mermaid’s Tears.

OPI: Steady As She Rose, Significant Other Color, The Color To Watch, Diva Of Geneva, Tease-y Does It.

I know what you’re thinking – do I really need all those dark purples which will inevitably look very similar on the nail? YES, I do. 🙂

OPI: William Tell Me About OPI, Lincoln Park After Dark, Siberian Nights, Mrs O’Leary’s BBQ, My Private Jet (newer version – not a linear or scattered holo but has holo flecks).

OPI: Privacy Please, This Little Piggy, Flower To Flower, Senorita Rosealita, Koala Beary.

OPI: Play The Peonies, Come To Poppy, Be A Dahlia Won’t You, Deer Valley Spice (black label – eek! For those of you who don’t know, OPI bottles used to have a black label on the bottle, and changed the label to green when they got rid of all the nasty chemicals from the formula. You can definitely smell the difference!), Let Me Entertain You.

OPI: Flashbulb Fuchsia, California Raspberry, Dutch Tulips, Alpine Snow.

OPI: Top Coat, Nail Envy (neither of which agree with my nails so I am looking to sell these – anyone interested?).

Seche Base.

And lots of nail art supplies! 🙂 I was super pleased with the polish thinner – at last I could rescue my dried-out OPI glitters 🙂

So that concludes my haul – needless to say I feel very lucky and my OPI collection now fills up a whole box in my room… which I never thought would happen! I tend to be quite reserved about which OPI, China Glaze and other polishes I buy due to the price, but I think these will keep me busy for a long while! There are several in there that have been on my mental wishlist since they came out, such as China Glaze White Cap, QT, and Ruby Pumps, and OPI Mermaid’s Tears, Let Me Entertain You and Lincoln Park After Dark.

Are there any you spotted you like? I have doubles of China Glaze 108 Degrees and Frostbite, and OPI Tease-y Does It and My Private Jet, so am looking to sell these too. 🙂
