This is my ‘day 2’ of the 30 Days of Untrieds Challenge by Polished Criminails. (Yes I know I am ages late haha, I’m hoping I’ll get back on track soon!). I was going to try to do some nail art for this one but everything I tried failed miserably so here is just a standard review!
When I first bought Orange Soda I hated it (don’t ask… it looked different in the glarey shop lights…!) but a few months back, when Chanel brought out ‘June’, something attracted me to the general pastelly toned-down orange look and I dug out Orange Soda and instantly loved it. My nails were stubby at the time though so no photos… but they’re here now. Orange Soda is a lovely pink-toned orange, it leans towards peach a lot which is actually really flattering on my pale pinky skin.
Oh, I also noticed in these photos my index finger nail looks way more yellowy-orange than the others – this is because I had a topcoat on that nail but it wasn’t noticeable in person! My middle, ring and pinkie nails are the most colour accurate.
Application:
The polish is opaque in 2 coats as long as you’re careful; it can be streaky which may require a 3rd coat. The polish dries quickly and to a fairly shiny finish.
How do you feel about peachy shades? Can you get them to work for you?
