Imagination In Colour UK Nail Polish Blog
Hello! Recently I was kindly sent two new Nella Milano nail polishes to review. Nella Milano is a new brand, created in France.
On first impressions I fell in love with the bottle (if you’ve been following this blog for a few years you’ll know how much I love a rectangular/square bottle!) and the style of the brand – it’s very chic. My favourite part is the caps – the design is simple yet unique and very attractive!
Moon Whisper is a Lovely clean nude colour. It’s a crelly consistency – non-streaky, delicate, and builds up to opacity (shown here at 3 coats). You may need a fourth coat if you have a long free edge. It dries quickly (so the multiple coats aren’t a problem) to a glossy finish. This is the perfect nude for me! It could definitely be a great colour for a French manicure, too.
This is a lovely grey-toned purpley-blue. It’s muted yet stands out. It’s a bit of an original take on all of the periwinkle blues that come out in the Spring. It’s very flattering on my pink-toned skin, which can sometimes be an issue with this type of colour. It’s totally opaque in 1-2 coats, and dries quickly to a lovely high shine.
I love both of these colours and the application was flawless with both – I would highly recommend these and for once I really can’t find a single flaw!
Nella Milano nail polishes are available here, and cost £8.95 each. The price tag is a little high for some, but I can say with confidence that you are paying for a great quality nail polish.
