Lynnderella Inner Space - Imagination In Colour

Lynnderella Inner Space

Hey chickas! Last summer I got really into my LEs, in particular, Lynderellas and Enchanted Polishes. I went through a phase of hunting them down on eBay, however I actually bought Inner Space second hand. It was a complete impulse purchase, I saw the picture and snapped it right up, without even really looking at swatches. But this nail varnish has become a firm favourite in my collection, so I’m super super glad I bought it!! Lynns can go for silly amounts, so I never buy them for over £15… I think price is an important barrier to set for yourself with limited editions, because it’s too easy to get carried away!

Lynnderella Inner Space (3)I’m not even going to begin to try and list all the shapes and colours in this polish, but they colours mostly metallic, with matte black and white glitters. I love that you will never get two nails that look the same, and that there’s a colour in there to go with any base – I think this would go with most base colours, with a few exceptions. Talking of which, this is one coat of Inner Space over two coats of Essie Naughty Nautical.

Application:

With age this glitter has become a little thick and gloopy – nothing disastrous but it does require a little extra care in application. I tend to dab a load of polish in one spot and then stroke it over the nail, to give an even coverage. It does drag a bit if you don’t have enough polish on there. It dries quickly, and for the most part to a smooth finish. The long bar glitters do sometimes stick up a little or lay off the end of the nail but I like to trim these with nail scissors once it’s all dry, rather than mess around with it when it’s wet. I’d always recommend a topcoat with glitter, to bring out the full reflective glory and finish it all off.

I think I paid around the £15 mark for this polish, which I know for a lot of people is way too much for a nail polish, but for me (self-confessed addict, hoarder, obsessive etc etc) it’s worth every penny. To be honest, knowing how much I love this polish I would probably pay over the odds for it again, because it gives me a lot of joy when I wear it 🙂 Lynderellas are sold primarily via Lynn’s eBay account, although you can tend to get some bargains on Facebook nail polish selling groups, and on eBay UK from time to time, which is my personal favourite medium as far as a Lynnderella-polish-in-the-UK source goes!

What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a nail polish? I’m still working out what mine might be…!!
