Barry M Matt White - Imagination In Colour

Barry M Matt White

For some reason this is called “Matt” white, I’m guessing because it’s not a Matte finish, but it can be a little confusing! This polish is GLOSSY!

This is 2 normal coats, no topcoat. This is a lovely pure white. I promise the bits near my cuticles didn’t look as raggedy irl. The polish is very smooth, not streaky at all and has a clean, level finish. It was surprisingly un-Tippex-y, which I’m glad of. My inspiration for wearing white nails, which I have always steered clear of, came from Liloo’s review of 17 Mini Skirt which looked lovely on her, but my Boots didn’t have it so I went for the next best thing.
Dry-time was fine, nothing special but nothing awful, but as you may be able to see I had a couple of unwanted sheet marks on my middle finger.
White is a very stark colour for the nails and it does look a bit strange on but I do quite like it, especially with Zebra print over the top, and this polish is lovely for nail art as it’s very opaque. And, as Liloo mentioned it is great to use as a base for your more sheer polishes!
However if you fear the Tippex look then don’t get this one! Haha.
Sorry I’ve been neglecting my blog again, it’s partly because of revision, partly because I have to share the camera and by the time I have it, my nails are chipped, and partly because I’ve been wearing my polishes for longer during the revision period! I found out yesterday that I need an endoscopy of my oesophageal tract and my stomach, so that should be interesting. Hope you are all well!
