Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a good day. Lately I’ve been more and more interested in nail art (keeping to my self-challenge of doing 20 nail art posts this year!) and a little while back my friend Charlie from Pocket Money Polishes kindly lent me some of her stamping plates. It’s taken me a little while to post this manicure I’m afraid – I gave her the plates back at least a month ago! 😛
I’ve always loved the combination of turquoise black and gold, like gold-set turquoise jewellery, and I thought it would probably look nice on nails too 🙂
For this manicure I used a base of Picture Polish Fools Gold, then stamped over it using MoYou London Pro Plate 08 in MoYou Black Special Nail Polish, then again with MoYou London Suki Plate 07 in MoYou Gold Special Nail Polish.
Then I finished with topcoat. If you want one that doesn’t smudge stamping, Barry M Plumpy Gelly Topcoat is my current go-to.
Despite having a very close name, MoYou London and MoYou Nails are actually two separate brands (this took me a while to get my head around haha), so you won’t be able to get all the items in the same place, but if you follow the links for each plate and polish it will take you to the right place.
Let me know what you think of this colour combo! 🙂 I was pretty pleased with it in the end.
