I have to start this post by saying – if you love green, and you love green polish, and you don’t already own this polish, you are SERIOUSLY missing out!! This is honestly one of the most stunning green polishes I have ever come across… it’s zoomed right up to my very top favourite greens… EVER!! China Glaze Water You Waiting For
As I am writing this post I have lost all sense of reason and spent pretty much Β£80 on nail polish in the last 24 hours. I really need someone to hold me accountable for all this spendage!
Anyway, I’ll try and distract myself from the madness… Here is another pretty polish from the China Glaze Cirque du Soleil collection.

China Glaze It’s A Trap-eze!
Something has taken over my ability to limit my spending this month… maybe it’s the amazing new collections coming out every other week! I’ve ‘accidentally’ bought 5 Butter Londons, 3 China Glazes, 3 OPIs, 7 Illamasquas since the beginning of January and I’m not convinced that’s the end, either!
Anyway, since I am now inundated with amazing polishes, I’d better get on with showing you them! Here is China Glaze It’s A Trap-eze! – a gorgeous white jelly containing blue, pink, yellow, green, silver, orange and purple glitter… it’s like the topping on a cupcake π
Rio Marble Nail Art Polish: London Collection
Hello everyone! I know, I know… it’s been forever since I last posted on here, which truly makes me so sad because I love my blog so much… I just seem to have so little free time at the moment; if I’m not at work I’m either sleeping or seeing my Andy and the result is no time to blog or indeed paint my nails! I really want to get back into the habit of doing regular blog posts though so bear with me, I have some ideas to help me manage my time more effectively!
Rio Beauty were kind enough to send me a second kit to review, following my review of the Rio Beauty Lace Nail Foils. I of course JUMPED at the chance, I loved the Lace Nail Foils so I was very excited to try their water marbling kit. To be totally honest with you, I’ve never even attempted a water marble manicure before this kit, purely because I just knew I would make a mess of it!
And of course this makes the perfect second kit to feature in my Christmas Gift Guide 2012!
Boots 17 Black and Gold Glitter Crackle Topcoat
Hello girlies (and guys… any guys other than my boyfriend read this?), I saw this in Boots and absolutely HAD to get it, no question. Aesthetically a wonderful idea.
- It looks best over a light colour such as white, silver, pale blue, pale pink, mint green or neon pink etc. – the gold glitter drowns out darker colours so the crackle effect isn’t as noticeable. Hopefully I’ll get a few pics up to demonstrate the light colours thing.
- It doesn’t crackle as much as other polishes – I find the thinner you spread it, the more it crackles… but then you lose some of the glitter. It takes a bit of getting used to.
- The glitter tends to all stay at the base of the nail (or wherever you start painting from) and I’ve gone over some areas with more than one stroke, which may account for less crackling.
- It crackles more if you blow on it as it dries!
- It dries matte, which can dull the contrast between the crackle and the base so it’s worth putting a topcoat on.
- It is a typical glitter, it will take that extra bit of rubbing with the remover to get it off!
