Hello friends! I’m afraid I’ve another stamping manicure to show you today – I’ve caught the stamping bug well and truly and I don’t think it’s going anywhere soon! 😛
Andy was kind enough to treat me to three stamping plates from MoYou London – eek! I was so excited it was ridiculous! They arrived two days ago and I would guess I’ve spent a good 8 hours just playing around with them. And during that playing around time, I came up with this manicure 🙂
This is possibly my favourite stamping plate in the world ever, so of course I had to show you this one asap! I’ll be using more of it in the future, but for now I’m showing you the seaweedy bits!
Just. look. at. that. plate.!! The little sea creatures are so cute! It took me a while to realise but I think the plate is like a reflection of itself… for the most part. Where on the left it’s more outlines of images, on the right it’s more filled-in type images. I am LOVING the inclusion of narwhals! This is pretty much the most excited I’ve been about a nail product since I tried out gels!
Products used:
- MoYou London Doodles Plate 07
- Nails Inc New York Noir (black base colour)
- Barry M Pacific (index and ring stamping)
- Barry M Arabian (middle and pinkie stamping)
I’ve been faffing around with my different nail polishes to find out which are best for stamping, and I’ve found that Barry M Pacific and Arabian look amazing over black. What you can’t tell from the photos is that the Barry M polishes still show a duochrome effect, even when stamped. It’s pretty awesome. I am so in love, lol. The stamping was easy to pick up, no qualms there at all. In fact it was all great :).
I actually ended up stamping on the little sea creatures over the top of this mani, but some smudged so I didn’t take photos (I’m still learning, hehe!).
Hope you like this manicure, let me know what you think 😀
