I used Chocolate Brown as a base for my Brown and Turquoise Glitter Gradient nails the other day. I was inspired to pull this one out because it’s been discontinued, but is still available on eBay and Amazon if you’re quick! There seems to be a fair bit of stock so if you really like it I’d get it now.
I still haven’t really made my mind up about this polish. To me, it looks stunning in a nice low light, like black coffee beans… very deep and rich. However in lighter light (? lol) it looks the colour of Dairy Milk (which is lovely, but a little dull in some respects). It definitely has that ‘just dipped in chocolate’ feel to it! It’s a wonderful polish in terms of quality and formula, as always with Barry M.
Application:
The photos all show 2 coats. The polish dried quickly and to a high shine – another super glossy nail paint from Barry M!
Chocolate Brown is one of those Barry M polishes that never seemed to turn up in Boots or Superdrug; mine was a gift from my mum when she bought me a few from the website. I do love this but for me I think it is best suited to some form of nail art! What do you think?
