Picture Polish Escapades

My Picture Polish love affair continues – I’ve been waiting to show you this nail polish ever since my nails all broke – it’s been my one of my favourites all winter! (I am living in fear of it running out, and I’ve only had it 2 months!) But I felt it needed a nice even set of nails to show it in its full glory.

Picture Polish Escapades is another collaboration shade; this one with Nail Escapades (one of my very favourite blogs!). I am all over it! It came out at the tail end of 2014, along with Picture Polish Lollipop, which I reviewed here.

Picture Polish Wisteria

Hello! Happy New Year! Hope you all had a great festive season, whatever you celebrate. I spent time with my mum and brother, my mum’s partner and his family, and my boyfriend’s family too – it’s always so good to spend time with the people you love! Anyway… I broke a nail and since mine have been quite battered and dry lately I cut them all back, so I’m going back into the photo archive so show you an oldie but a goodie!

You probably already know my undying love for Picture Polish, an independent Australian nail polish brand. I daren’t even think how much I’ve spent on their nail polish in the last year! You might also know that I’m not normally a big fan of cremes from indie brands – I tend to think that I’d rather spend the money on a unique nail polish, while cremes are ten a penny in most highstreet brands. But for some reason, this one really drew me in earlier in 2014, and I had to have it.

This is Picture Polish Wisteria – so-called after Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives (which I used to watch like an addict!).

Picture Polish Lollipop

Hello lovely ladies. Today was the tragic day of the Sydney siege, which I think has shaken the world and reminded us how precious every single seemingly ‘normal’ day really is. Of course, my thoughts are with all those affected by the incident.

On a happier note now, by random chance, today I am wearing Australian nail polish brand ‘Picture Polish’. They recently released a new set of nail polishes, and if you have been reading my blog for a while (or following my Instagram) you will know what a Picture Polish devotee I have become! I limited myself to three of the new collection, so today I have ‘Lollipop’ to show you. Which I LOVE, by the way!

Picture Polish Bette

Hey there! Today I have a very pretty nail polish to show you. It’s another Picture Polish shade (if you follow me on Instagram, you will know how much I adore Picture Polish!), which I got back in the late summer when they launched 8 or so new shades. This one was part of a collection of four which were ‘re-releases’ (or very similar) of shades originally sold under Ozotic, which, from what I gather, was a sister brand of Picture Polish.

So ‘Bette’ is meant to be a remake of Ozotic 617. They’re pretty much the same in my eyes, although if you want to see for yourself More Nail Polish did a great comparison here.

Picture Polish Columbia Rocky Horror

Today I have another Picture Polish (if you want to see my other reviews of Picture Polishes, click here!) – as I explained when I wrote about Shocked, I have had a little obsession for Picture Polishes lately, so you may see a few posts on these in the coming weeks! The formula is always so good – I can’t help it!

Columbia is from the Rocky Horror collection came out a couple of months ago. Please don’t hate me – I have to confess that I’ve never watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but the amount of people who are shocked by this tells me it must be good! As such, I wasn’t the first to jump for this collection – however I saw a couple of pictures of Columbia and fell. Hard. I’m not normally too keen on reds, but something about this caught my eye and dominated my every waking moment until I bought it!
