A England Princess Tears

Hello all! I’m sorry for being away for a while – my camera has broken and I kind of lost the motivation to blog. I do still have a few old photos left in my ‘unblogged’ folder, so I’ll try and get those up in the meantime. I’m thinking of doing a blogsale to raise funds for my new camera, but with the price of postage these days it makes many of the cheaper polishes more expensive than when you buy them instore, so I’ll have to put some thought into that! Any ideas?

Anyways, before my camera broke, I managed to snap this beautiful lilac holo-duochrome. Super pretty!

The polish seems to be a holographic lilac-shimmer polish, it has a lovely duochrome effect with the pinky-lilac shimmer creating this lovely muted finish. I think if you wanted to wear holo in the office, this is the way to do it! I really love how flattering this was on my skin tone, and I think it’s one of those shades that will be flattering for everyone.

Application:

The photos show 2 coats. And the formula was PERFECT – applied smoothly and evenly, no streaking, no dragging, GOSH Holographic eat your heart out! The polish dried quickly, and to a high shine. I’d add a topcoat for longevity if you plan to wear it for a few days. I literally cannot fault this polish, I love everything about it and it is worth every penny of its £9 price tag. The holographic effect is more subtle than that of GOSH Holographic, but when it catches direct light it is more than visible!

A England polishes can be bought from the A England Website, where they cost £9 each, with free shipping worldwide!

I wanted to quickly show you my new hair – the left is the ‘before’ (I’d just woken up – lol) and the right is the ‘after’. I used two bottles of Schwarzkopf ‘Red Passion’. I did this roughly a week ago and it’s already begun to fade back to the original brown, frustratingly!

Today is my 3rd anniversary with my boyfriend Andy. It’s so weird to think 3 years ago today, he took me up to a field by his house to watch a sunset, and that’s where we shared our first kiss <3 time flies. I love you Andy! xxx

Hope you are all having a good day! Let me know what you think about the blogsale idea – how do you think I could make it more cost-effective for you guys? Also does anyone own the Canon EOS 600D – is it a camera you’d recommend?! Thank you so much!

Finally, I am going to try to keep updating my blog until I have my new camera (which could be a week or two, maybe three!) but because I will be using my Andy’s iPod camera, I will probably only post nail art posts as the quality is not as good as I feel a decent polish needs if I am to review it accurately!
