The other day I was craving a really summery manicure, I felt like I wanted something bright and eye-catching but not neon… and this is what happened!

Leighton Denny Babydoll
I’ve never been a fan of Leighton Denny polishes; they’ve never applied well for me and they’ve separated, been streaky or dried bumpy… the list goes on. I got Babydoll in a Glossybox a few months back, swatched it once (it applied streaky) and put it to the back of my stash. A couple of days ago, as I was sorting out my polishes, I swatched it again. This time, no problems whatsoever! So here it is. It may just have changed my mind about Leighton Denny.
Pink and Black French Manicure
Here is a simple bit of nail art, which literally took me about 10 minutes! No fiddly bits involved 🙂
Barry M Chocolate Brown
I used Chocolate Brown as a base for my Brown and Turquoise Glitter Gradient nails the other day. I was inspired to pull this one out because it’s been discontinued, but is still available on eBay and Amazon if you’re quick! There seems to be a fair bit of stock so if you really like it I’d get it now.
Brown and Turquoise Glitter Gradient Nail Art
When I was about 12, I had this lovely T-shirt from Jane Norman which was turquoise, with brown writing and a brown halterneck underneath-top-thing, and some lovely glittery bits and a brown palm tree. I adored this T-shirt because, as many UK ladies may know, Jane Norman was pretty expensive (at least to little 12 year old me!). Anyways, one of the things I always remembered about the T-shirt was how good turquoise and brown looked together. Which is what inspired this manicure. I’ll stop waffling now!
